- The danger caused by the structure of the punch press itself.At this stage, the vast majority of punches still use a rigid clutch. Once the clutch is connected and running, a stamping cycle must be completed before the slider stops running. During downstroke, if the hand of the stamping worker cannot be removed from the die in time, stamping accidents will occur.
- Stamping process failure.Punch in operation, there will be impact and vibration, a long time will make the punch parts deformation, wear and even rupture, resulting in the punching machine out of control and resulting in uneven punching machine phenomenon, which is a very dangerous situation.
- The switch fails to be pressed.The punch switch malfunctions due to human or long time lack of maintenance, resulting in failure in the stamping process.
- The stamping die design is unreasonable.Stamping die is the foundation of producing stamping parts. The unreasonable design of stamping die will greatly increase the possibility of stamping accidents. Normal stamping die will also appear wear, deformation or damage with the increase of use time, resulting in the occurrence of accidents.
Two, stamping operation safety technical measures - Stamping safety tools must be used.In the process of stamping, safety tools are used to put the product blank into the mold and take out the finished product and waste, so as to realize the operation outside the mold, avoid direct hand into the mold, to ensure the safety of workers.

It is a device that uses pulleys, levers and ropes to link the worker’s hand movements to the movement of the slider. - Double switch control system.The slider is activated only when the stamping worker’s hands press both buttons at the same time. This completely eliminates the possibility that the worker will put his hand into the mold and the punching will begin.
- Safety grid.A punch with a safety grille constitutes a protected area for the entire hazardous area. The punch cannot be started when the worker enters the safety grille protected area.
